Governance

Good governance has now become an essential item on the agenda of management in the private, public and semi-public sectors. And yet a lot of organisations are still wrestling with how to effectively implement good governance pratically. The Galan Group has now been advising and assisting its clients with good governance for more than ten years. Our advice is professional but, most of all, it is pragmatic.

Hardware and software

Good governance is more than just observing codes and regulations. We look on codes as traffic regulations: you have to keep to them but they don't automatically make you a good driver. So that's why we don't just restrict ourselves to the 'hardware', as we call the procedures and codes for good governance; we also look at the 'software' - the way in which managers and supervisors handle the rules. After all, good governance is essentially man-made. It's about trust, clear agreements en flexible co-operation.

Tailor-making

There are no ready-made solutions for professionalising management and supervision simply because every organisation comes from a different background. Our extensive experience allows us to provide tailor-made advice. We don't just stand on the sidelines; we work with our clients to find the best solution. It's an approach that has been producing satisfied clients for many years.
